Job Summary

As part of the interdisciplinary team, the RPN duties will include immediate preoperative, intraoperative and immediate post-operative care with regard to booked surgical procedures, assisting physicians and other related duties.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses (CNO) as a Registered Practical Nurse.
  • Current BCLS required.
  • Perioperative Nurse Certificate from a recognized program required.
  • Two (2) years recent experience in Operating Room, Recovery or Critical Care units.

Hours of Work:  In order to provide the necessary patient care, our operations run 24/7.  There is the expectation that you are available to work weekdays, weekends and all shifts (days, nights, 12 hour shifts).

Other:  All job offers will require compliance with our COVID-19 Vaccination Policy for proof of full vaccination (two doses) unless provided with a medical exemption or an accomodation under the Ontario Human Rights Code.
